As a National Focal Point for the UNFCCC, the Agency contributes to addressing climate change issues and coordinates climate change activities in the country. The Agency operates the Center for the Study of Climate Change and the Ozone Layer. The Center processes information and reports on all aspects related to climate research, mitigation of its changes and adaptation to them, which led to the development of a National Action Plan on Adaptation to Climate Change and a National Adaptation Strategy 2012-2030 The Agency was consulted during the formulation of the project.
