The Committee coordinates the activities of state bodies in the field of environmental protection, as well as state control over the use of natural resources, protection of land, mineral resources, forests, water and other resources. In the field of climate change, the Committee oversees the activities of the Hydrometeorology Agency. The Committee was consulted during the formulation of the project.

Role in the Project:

Member of the Project Steering Committee. As the designated authority for the AF, the Committee will liaise with the project as necessary on matters related to the project implementation.
