The Center focuses on the development of a scientific, methodological and analytical basis for assessing modern and predicted changes in the cryosphere of the runoff formation zone and their consequences for the water, food and environmental security of the Central Asian region.

Role in the Project:

The Center will be involved in conducting a scientific assessment of the hazards and risks of the GLOFs.
