Ministry Of Emergency Situations

The Ministry is the state body responsible for DRR and emergency response in Kyrgyzstan. In the structure of the Ministry, there is the Department of Monitoring and Forecasting of Emergencies, as well as the Department for Prevention and Response of Consequences of Emergencies, aimed at preventing and responding to disasters. Consultations were held with the Ministry during project formulation.

Member of the Project Steering Committee. Focal Point on Disaster Risk Reduction activities in the Kyrgyz Republic.
